Casualties and responses

Earlier, on Monday evening, an encounter broke out between security forces and terrorists in the Desa Forest area, resulting in the tragic loss of four soldiers. The Indian Army identified the fallen as Captain Brijesh Thapa, Naik D Rajesh, Sepoy Bijendra, and Sepoy Ajay.

The Indian Army expressed deep condolences to the families of these soldiers and assured them of unwavering support during this difficult time. The Army emphasized its commitment to maintaining peace in the region through counter-terrorist operations.
