Haryana CM Khattar on Brijendra's exit: understand Party before joining

Haryana CM Khattar comments on Brijendra's exit, emphasizes understanding Party before joining

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar responded to the resignation of Hisar MP Brijendra Singh from the BJP, emphasizing the importance of understanding a political party's values before joining it. Khattar made these remarks during an event in Karnal, where he encouraged new members to grasp the essence of the BJP before affiliating with it.

Emphasis on Party values

Khattar highlighted that Singh's recent association with the Congress indicated a lack of commitment to the BJP's principles. He stressed the significance of comprehending a party's ethos before becoming a part of it, indicating that Singh's departure did not significantly affect the BJP.

Brijendra Singh, the son of former Union Minister Bijender Singh and the great-grandson of Sir Chotu Ram, resigned from the BJP and joined the Congress in New Delhi. His decision to switch parties prompted Khattar's remarks regarding the importance of loyalty and understanding within political affiliations.

Mass joining event

During his visit to Karnal, Khattar presided over a membership joining event at the district party office, Karna Kamal. Over 115 leaders and workers from various political backgrounds, including Congress, AAP, BSP, JJP, and INLD, along with advocates, sarpanches, seers, and doctors, were granted membership to the BJP.

In his public address, Khattar reiterated his commitment to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, assuring him of securing victory in all 10 Lok Sabha seats in Haryana in the upcoming elections.
