Haryana CM launches new healthcare initiatives

Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar unveils two healthcare initiatives

Haryana's Chief Minister, Manohar Lal Khattar, has announced the expansion of the Ayushman/Chirayu scheme to cover families with annual incomes ranging from ₹1.80 lakh to ₹3 lakh. Previously, the scheme was limited to families with incomes below ₹1.80 lakh. This extension will provide benefits to an additional 38,000 families in the state, aimed at improving healthcare accessibility.

Cashless health facility for Government employees

The state government has also introduced a cashless health facility for government employees and pensioners. In the initial phase, 894 employees from the fisheries and horticulture departments will be the first beneficiaries of this scheme. There are plans to extend this cashless health scheme to other departments within the state, ensuring more government employees and pensioners can access hassle-free healthcare services.

Additionally, on the occasion of Haryana Day, cultural programs were held at Haryana Raj Bhawan. Governor Bandaru Dattatraya and Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar extended their greetings to the people. The event was attended by various dignitaries, including Vidhan Sabha speaker Gian Chand Gupta, Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare Minister J.P. Dalal, Vidhan Sabha deputy speaker Ranbir Gangwa, and other senior officers from different departments, marking a celebratory day in Haryana.
