Haryana to revamp ambulance services modeled after Ola and Uber

Haryana plans ambulance system makeover inspired by Ola and Uber, announces CM

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has announced plans to revamp the state's ambulance services, drawing inspiration from ride-sharing platforms like Ola and Uber. The new system aims to create a unified pool of both government and private ambulances across the state, ensuring that patients receive timely and efficient medical care from the nearest available ambulance. This move is designed to improve the accessibility and response time of ambulance services.

Infrastructure development in Haryana

In addition to the ambulance system overhaul, the Haryana government also revealed plans to implement 13 new projects valued at over ₹284 crore. These projects are part of the Rural Augmentation Programme and Mahagram Yojana and are set to benefit regions including Hisar, Jind, Sonipat, and Rewari. These initiatives are aimed at enhancing infrastructure and services in these areas.
