Woman’s body found stuffed in suitcase near Sampla Bus Stand in Haryana

A woman’s body was discovered inside a suitcase near the Sampla bus stand on the Rohtak-Delhi highway on Saturday. Police believe she was strangled before being placed inside the suitcase.

Commuters passing by noticed an abandoned suitcase about 200 meters from the bus stand and informed the police. When the police opened it, they found the body of a woman, estimated to be between 22 to 25 years old. There were injury marks on her neck, suggesting she had been strangled.

Police investigating the case

Sampla police and forensic experts arrived at the scene and collected evidence. Officers are checking CCTV footage to determine when and who left the suitcase there.

The body has been sent to Rohtak’s Post-Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (PGIMS), where it will be kept for 72 hours to help identify the woman. Police are also gathering information from nearby areas to find clues about her identity.
