Haryana's COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted

In today’s revised guidelines, the Haryana State Disaster Management Authority (HSDMA) ordered the removal of all existing restrictions. Residents, on the other hand, have been instructed to closely adhere to Covid-appropriate behavioral rules, such as social distancing. Following a significant drop in Covid-19 cases, the decision to eliminate all restrictions was made.

Schools in Haryana re-opened from 10 Feb

From the 10th of February, students from grade 1 to 9 in Haryana returned to school. The online mode of education, on the other hand, is still active. On the 10th of January, all educational institutions in Haryana were closed due to an unexpected increase in Covid-19 cases.

Cinemas and multiplexes were also allowed to open with a 50% seating capacity, though all of these restrictions have since been lifted. The state government had previously ordered all government and private offices to operate at maximum capacity beginning January 28.

COVID cases in Haryana

The state of Haryana on Wednesday had recorded 703 new Covid-19 cases, 1,227 recoveries and five deaths.
