Himachal Pradesh Assembly sets dates for Budget Session, scheduled from February 14 to 29
The Himachal Pradesh assembly is set to kick off its budget session from February 14 to February 29, as announced by Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla. The budget presentation by Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu is scheduled for February 17.
The session will commence with the governor's address on February 14 at 11 am, setting the tone for the upcoming proceedings. Chief Minister Sukhu will then present the state's second budget on February 17, outlining the government's financial plan.

Budget discussion and approval
Following the budget presentation, discussions among assembly members regarding the budget are slated from February 18 to 28. The approval of the budget is expected to take place on February 29, marking a crucial step in the legislative process.
Speaker Kuldeep Pathania revealed that the upcoming session will consist of a total of 13 sittings, providing ample time for deliberations on various issues. This session marks the second budget presentation by the Sukhu-led state government.
