Trouble in HP Congress: Agriculture Minister criticizes party high command
Himachal Pradesh Agriculture Minister Chander Kumar Chaudhary has expressed his disappointment with the Congress high command. He questioned why the Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee (HPCC) has not been restructured yet. He also said that the Congress did not take the Delhi elections seriously.
Delay in party reconstitution
The HPCC was dissolved on November 6, 2024, by Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge. Since then, meetings have been held to gather feedback from leaders and party workers. However, no new committee has been announced yet.

Chander Kumar, a senior leader and former MP, said that a political organization is necessary for elections. Himachal Pradesh will have elections in 2027, and he questioned how the party will manage without a proper structure.
