Hindus should have 2-3 kids else there would be a ‘crisis of life’: Milind Parande

Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) leader Milind Parande remarked at a conference in Madhya Pradesh that Hindu youngsters should have at least two to three children after marriage since a drop in their population will lead to a "crisis of existence."

"Every youth should think that after marriage, every Hindu household should have at least two to three children. A crisis will arise for Hindus if their population declines. And therefore, not just for an individual, but for the protection of the society, every Hindu family should have two to three children," Milind Parande said.

Milind Parande was speaking at the Hindu Youth Conference in Khandwa, which was co-hosted by the VHP and the Bajrang Dal. The event, which took place this week, drew a big number of young people.

He claimed that the Hindu community was inspired by their history, which is why the British colonial overlords wanted to destroy the link between them and the past. According to him, the British developed a new educational system that made Hindus ashamed of their ancestors and history.

He further said, "They corrupted our education system...Any society that feels ashamed about its ancestors does not survive for long."

As per Milind Parande, the "population of Hindu is declining and the danger of conversion is increasing. The population of Muslims is also on the rise. It's in history that the threat to the integrity of the country increases if the Hindu population decreases. Hindus should be there in large numbers so that the country doesn't get divided again".

He brought up temple-mosque tensions in Uttar Pradesh's Kashi, Mathura, and Ayodhya, which might go to the polls next month. He also said, "Kashi, Mathura, and Ayodhya are the resolves of the Hindu society. The Hindu society needs to fulfill its resolve. The Vishwa Hindu Parishad led the Ram Janmabhoomi movement and this resolution is also being fulfilled."
