On a separate note, another incident unfolded on Monday, involving an Air India Express flight carrying 154 passengers from Tiruchirappalli to Sharjah. Due to technical reasons, the flight decided to make a precautionary landing at Thiruvananthapuram International Airport. The airport authorities declared a full emergency after the flight's departure from Tiruchirappalli in Tamil Nadu.

The flight landed safely at Thiruvananthapuram around noon, and the airline clarified that it was not an emergency landing but rather a precautionary measure to address the technical snag that occurred post-takeoff.
