Instagram new update

We will be able to vertically scroll stories page, similar like reels

Instagram will soon get new features

Instagram may soon change the way you view stories on the app. According to a new report, the popular social media app may provide vertically scrolling tales, similar to how the app’s Reels function. The functionality could take the place of the present story layout, which scrolls horizontally with new tales showing on the right side of older ones.

Users will no longer have to swipe to the next Instagram user or tap on the right edge of the screen to move to the next story, instead, they will simply swipe up to go to the next profile. The list of stories, on the other hand, will remain a vertical bar at the top, scrolling sideways.

Instagram is now testing the new layout in Turkey, but it is unclear whether and when it will be sent out to other locations. It’s worth noting that, because the feature is still in beta, Instagram may decide to ditch it and remain with the horizontal stories structure.

Instagram’s story interaction with Facebook is also getting tighter than it has ever been. For a time now, Instagram has offered to share your Instagram stories with Facebook. If you wish to do so, a new feature allows you to check the views on both from the same location.

By accessing that particular story and swiping up from it, Instagram users who publish their tales to Facebook will now be able to check views from both platforms in Instagram. However, the feature may be limited in scope for the time being, so don’t expect to see it right away. Instagram and Facebook, which currently offer cross-platform chat, are one step closer to becoming connected.
