In Una district, Himachal Pradesh, pro-Khalistan slogans were discovered scrawled on walls near Mata Chintpurni Temple. The incident, reported on Wednesday, prompted the local police to initiate an investigation. Una's Superintendent of Police, Arjit Sen Thakur, assured that the miscreants responsible for the graffiti would be arrested soon.

Repeat incident and previous legal action:
This is not the first instance of such incidents in Himachal Pradesh. Last year on May 7, pro-Khalistan banners and graffiti appeared on the boundary wall of the Himachal Pradesh assembly in Dharamshala. A case was registered under relevant sections of the IPC and the HP Open Places (Prevention of Disfigurement) Act. Notably, based on a video clip, Pannu was named a co-accused and the main conspirator in this case, leading to his booking under the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA).
As the investigation unfolds, authorities are committed to addressing these incidents, ensuring legal actions against those responsible, and maintaining peace in the region.
