Ludhiana starts helpline for people from district who are stranded in Ukraine
The District Administration of Ludhiana has established a helpline number — 80540-02351 — for students and other residents of the district who are stranded in Ukraine. The helpline's main goal is to collect information about those who are trapped in Ukraine and send it on to the state authorities for further action.
Varinder Kumar Sharma, the Deputy Commissioner of Ludhiana, stated that information on those stranded in Ukraine who are from the district is being gathered so that it may be passed on to the Union Ministry of External Affairs via the state administration.
Sharma urged family members of district residents stranded in Ukraine to contact authorities as soon as possible and provide the names of their relatives in
Ukraine, their father's name, address in Ludhiana, mobile number, passport number, university/college name, address, and phone/mobile number in Ukraine on the helpline number 80540-02351.
