Man arrested for threatening Woman Doctor at Kolkata Hospital

A man in Purba Bardhaman, West Bengal, has been arrested for threatening a female doctor, following the recent rape and murder of a trainee doctor in Kolkata. The suspect, Susanta Roy, allegedly told the doctor that if she did not provide proper treatment, he would ensure she faced a similar fate as the victim from RG Kar Medical College in Kolkata.

The threat led to protests by doctors and nurses at Bhatar State General Hospital, where the incident occurred. According to reports, Roy visited the hospital for treatment and was upset when there was a delay. He reportedly threatened the doctor by referencing the tragic case in Kolkata.
