McDonald's announces nationwide Krispy Kreme Doughnut sales in US stores

McDonald's and Krispy Kreme fans have something to rejoice about as McDonald's announces plans to sell Krispy Kreme doughnuts across all its locations in the United States. This expanded partnership aims to bring the beloved doughnuts to McDonald's customers nationwide by the end of 2026.

Sweet treats at McDonald's

Customers will soon be able to indulge in Krispy Kreme doughnuts at their local McDonald's outlets. Three popular doughnuts from Krispy Kreme's bakery chain will be freshly delivered to McDonald's restaurants every day, available individually or in boxes of six. These sweet treats will be on offer from breakfast time until they run out each day.

Among the doughnuts making their way to McDonald's are the iconic Original Glazed Doughnut, known for its melt-in-your-mouth texture and signature glaze. Additionally, customers can enjoy the Chocolate Iced with Sprinkles Doughnut, a chocolatey twist on the original covered in rainbow sprinkles. Another delightful option is the Chocolate Iced Kreme Filled Doughnut, featuring a fluffy dough filled with smooth Kreme and dipped in chocolate icing.

Free Doughnuts to celebrate

To celebrate the partnership, Krispy Kreme is offering a complimentary Original Glazed Doughnut to visitors at Krispy Kreme shops between 5 pm and 9 pm on Tuesday, March 26. This offer follows a successful test run at 160 McDonald's restaurants in Kentucky, where consumer excitement surpassed expectations. Even after the nationwide rollout, these pilot locations will continue to serve Krispy Kreme doughnuts.
