Mouth-watering Kimchi Recipe:

A delectable Kimchi Recipe for your Korean heart so savour the rich, spicy and zesty flavour of this side dish.
This appetizing Korean dish is made by fermenting whole cabbage and carrots in a very tasty and flavoursome mixture of added sauces along with ingredients like garlic, vinegar, ginger and soya sauce. For best results use ‘Napa Cabbage’.
Essential Ingredients:
* 1 tablespoon salt
* A whole cabbage
* Distilled water
* 2 tablespoons chopped spring onion
* 1 cup white vinegar
* 1 tablespoon red pepper flakes (gochugaru)
* 1 tablespoon sesame oil
* 1 tablespoon chopped garlic
* 1 tablespoon chopped ginger
* 1 cup soy sauce
* 1 tablespoon sugar
Step By Step DIY Kimchi Recipe:
1. Start by chopping cabbage lengthwise
2. Mix with salt and add little water for the cabbage to completely absorb salt
3. Let the mix sit for 3-4 three hours until it looks wrinkled by covering it
4. Squeeze the cabbage a few times until it softens
5. Rinse with water thoroughly and put aside for 15 minutes
6. Make the zesty paste by adding the garlic, ginger, sugar, water, gochugaru and soya sauce.
7. Mix the ready paste with cabbage
8. Combine with radish or carats and coat with paste completely
9. Sterilize a jar and press down the kimchi into it till you see brine(juice of kimchi)
10. Seal the jar and let it ferment for 1-5 days.
11. Refrigerate when ready and serve the kimchi by dressing it with sesame oil
