On Monday, Mumbai reported a significant drop in Covid cases, with 5,956 new cases and 12 deaths. As of Monday evening, the total number of active cases in the city was 50,757. A whopping 83 percent of new Covid patients had no symptoms.

After a run of over 10,000 Covid-19 instances each day for the previous 11 days, Mumbai’s daily count fell to 7,895 on Sunday.

Services for marriage registration have been temporarily paused

Due to the current COVID-19 issue, marriage registration services in Mumbai have been temporarily halted.

According to the BMC, services will be resumed soon, including the ability to schedule appointments. A video KYC alternative is also being considered by the city authority.
