NIA conducts many searches in Jammu and Kashmir and Rajasthan.

In connection with the Rajasthan and J&K conspiracy case, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) conducted searches in numerous places across Jammu and Kashmir. The searches took place concurrently in the Jammu & Kashmir districts of Sopore, Kupwara, Shopian, Rajouri, Budgam, and Ganderbal, as well as the Rajasthan district of Jodhpur.

The raids were believed to be connected to a physical and cyber-based conspiracy to carry out lethal terrorist attacks in J&K and other major cities, including Delhi. The schemes allegedly involved members of banned terrorist organisations such as Laskhar-e-Taiba (LeT), Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), Hizb-ul-Mujahideen (HM), Al Badr, and others, as well as its affiliates such as The Resistance Front (TRF), People Against Fascist Forces (PAFF), and others.

Various incriminating items were taken from the searched premises, including digital gadgets, sim cards, digital storage devices, documents, and so on.

The aforementioned banned organisations' terrorists and cadres have been implicated in a number of terrorist acts and the killings of several innocent civilians and security officials, resulting in a reign of terror in Kashmir's valley.

The apprehended suspects are Over Ground Workers (OGWs) of several proscribed terrorist organisations who have been providing logistical and material assistance to active terrorist cadres in their organisations, according to the investigation.
