The battleship was on a cross-coast operational deployment from the Eastern Naval Command, according to Navy sources, and was expected to return to base port soon. An official stated, "A board of inquiry has been ordered to investigate the cause."

The release says, "The ship's crew responded immediately and quickly brought the situation under control."
