PM Modi congratulates Swapnil Kusale on Bronze Medal win at Olympics
Swapnil Kusale won a bronze medal in the 50m rifle 3 positions event at the Paris Olympics, bringing India's total medal count to three. Kusale, from Kolhapur, Maharashtra, finished with a score of 451.4 in the final, placing third. China’s Liu Yukun won gold, and Ukraine’s Serhiy Kulish took silver.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised Kusale for his impressive performance. On X (formerly Twitter), Modi congratulated Kusale, highlighting his resilience and skill. Modi noted that Kusale is the first Indian to win a medal in this category and expressed that all Indians are proud of his achievement.

Union Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya commended Kusale for his historic win, emphasizing the pride India feels in his achievement. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge also congratulated Kusale, praising his precision and determination.
