Addressing PM's remark
Priyanka Gandhi, speaking at a rally in Bengaluru, countered PM Modi's claim by highlighting her family's contributions to the country. She emphasized that during times of war, her mother, Indira Gandhi, sacrificed her own gold for the nation. Priyanka also mentioned her father's assassination, illustrating the sacrifices made by her family.

PM Modi's controversial statement
PM Modi's remark, made at a rally in Rajasthan, accused the Congress of intending to redistribute people's hard-earned money and valuables to certain groups. He specifically mentioned the mangalsutra, a symbol of married Hindu women, suggesting that the Congress would even take that away.
The Congress party, including leaders like P Chidambaram, strongly criticized PM Modi's statement, labeling it as baseless fearmongering. The party also filed a complaint with the Election Commission against PM Modi, alleging religious targeting in his speech.The Election Commission is currently reviewing the complaint against PM Modi.
