In a surprising incident at the civil secretariat in Chandigarh, Roopkanwal Kaur, a woman law officer from the Punjab finance department, was apprehended by the police for carrying a magazine containing seven cartridges of .33mm caliber in her bag. The arrest occurred during a routine security check when an X-BIS machine detected the ammunition-like object in Kaur's purse, prompting the intervention of Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) officials.
