At Howrah railway station, a Railway Protection Force (RPF) constable came to the aid of a male passenger who slipped while trying to board the Howrah – Puri Vande Bharat Express. The incident occurred as the passenger rushed to catch the train, which had just departed from the platform.
The passenger attempted to enter the train through the guard's cabin, mistakenly thinking the door was open. However, as he tried to board, he lost his balance, fell, and ended up wedged in the gap between the moving train and the platform.

Thankfully, a vigilant RPF officer sprang into action and swiftly rescued the passenger from his perilous position. The entire incident was captured on video by a bystander on the platform. In the video, the train can be seen leaving the platform, and in a moment of instability, the passenger tries to board the moving train.
