Rajnath Singh criticizes INDIA Bloc for corruption issues in Haryana Speech

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh criticized the INDIA bloc, including AAP and Congress, over corruption issues while addressing a gathering at the Gharaunda grain market on Wednesday. Singh accused AAP of betraying Anna Hazare and Congress of betraying Mahatma Gandhi, questioning if the government should not take action against corruption.

Singh targeted AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal, saying Kejriwal claims to be honest but blames Prime Minister Modi for his jail time. Singh pointed out that Kejriwal's aide, Sanjay Singh, was released on bail in the same case, suggesting that the government is acting against corruption. He highlighted the BJP's success in recovering assets through the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), claiming they recovered ₹22,000 crore in cash and property worth ₹1 lakh crore, compared to just ₹32 lakh before 2014.

Praise for Khattar and BJP's achievements

Singh praised former Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, hinting at a significant role for him in Parliament if elected as an MP. Singh emphasized that Khattar is highly respected by PM Modi and has been a dedicated leader for over four decades.

Singh also recalled his personal experiences during the emergency period when he was imprisoned. He shared a story of how he remained in jail while his mother died of a brain hemorrhage, emphasizing his commitment to fighting battles rather than filing pleas.

Additionally, Singh advocated for 'one nation, one election,' stating that the BJP-led government has initiated steps to implement this policy. He criticized Congress for failing to alleviate poverty during their 55 years in power, contrasting it with Modi's efforts, which he claimed have lifted 25 crore Indians out of poverty.

Overall, Singh's speech was a strong attack on the opposition, defending the BJP's record on corruption and poverty alleviation while promoting their governance initiatives.
