Sana Khan, who left the acting world in 2020 to dedicate herself to serving humanity, joined the Mirza family for the pilgrimage. She has since married cleric Mufti Anas Sayed. Rumors and clarifications

Despite her spiritual journey, Sania Mirza found herself in the spotlight due to rumors about her personal life. Speculation arose that she was set to marry Indian cricketer Mohammed Shami. However, her father, Imran, dispelled these rumors in an interview with NDTV, stating, "This is all rubbish. She has not even met him."

The rumors began circulating after a morphed wedding photo of Sania and Shami appeared online. This photo was actually from Sania's wedding to her ex-husband, Shoaib Malik, with Shami's face superimposed on Malik's. Sania and Shoaib married in 2010 and have a son named Izaan. Sania announced their separation in January this year after Shoaib married actor Sana Javed.
