Schools in Manipur announce three-day closure amidst unrest across the state
The Directorate of Education Schools in Manipur has declared a three-day holiday for all schools in the state. This decision affects government schools, state government-aided schools, and private unaided schools. The temporary closure is scheduled for September 27 and 29, with students and parents advised to contact their respective schools for more information.
Eid-e-Milad public holiday
Thursday, September 27, is a public holiday in Manipur, marking Eid-e-Milad, the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad. While the official notice does not specify the reason for the extended closure, speculations suggest it may be due to ongoing violence in the region.
