Mohali welcomes second School of Eminence, boosting educational landscape

Mohali's second "School of Eminence (SOE)" was inaugurated in Phase 11 by local MLA Kulwant Singh. The inauguration ceremony took place on Sunday, with Singh leading the event.

Modern facilities and infrastructure

The newly inaugurated SOE is equipped with modern facilities including smart classrooms, labs, and playgrounds for various sports. It has been constructed at a cost of ₹11.50 crore and is designed to accommodate students from Classes 6 to 12. Entrance tests will be required for admission into Classes 9 and 10.

Singh highlighted the significance of establishing SOEs across Punjab, emphasizing that it marks a significant step towards an education revolution in the state. He credited Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann's leadership for spearheading this initiative.

Virtual inauguration by Chief Ministers

Earlier, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who is also the AAP chief, inaugurated 13 such schools across Punjab virtually from Ludhiana. This signifies a collaborative effort between Punjab and Delhi governments to enhance the education sector in Punjab.
