Mukesh Ambani receives third threat email demanding ₹400 crores
Mukesh Ambani, the Chairman of Reliance Industries, is facing a series of threat emails from an unidentified individual, with the latest demanding ₹400 crore. The email was received by Ambani's company on Monday, marking the third such threat in just four days.
This unsettling situation began when Ambani's security in-charge filed a complaint with the Gamdevi police station after the first threatening email, seeking ₹20 crore, arrived on Friday. Following that, a second email demanding ₹200 crore was received by the company on Saturday.

Escalating demand for money
The most recent email, received on Monday, was even more concerning as it doubled the demand to ₹400 crore, indicating an escalation in the threat.
In response to these threats, the Mumbai police, along with their crime branch and cyber teams, have initiated an investigation to trace the sender of these menacing emails. The aim is to identify and apprehend the person responsible for making these threats against Mukesh Ambani.
Past incidents of threats
It's worth noting that this is not the first time Mukesh Ambani has been targeted with threats. Last year, a man from Bihar's Darbhanga was arrested by the Mumbai police for making death threats to Ambani and his family members. In addition to threatening the Ambani family, the accused had also made alarming threats to blow up the Sir H N Reliance Foundation Hospital in Mumbai.
