Unveiling Bajrang Dal's Monu Manesar in Nuh Violence
Unraveling the Identity of Bajrang Dal's Monu Manesar Linked to Nuh Violence
At the heart of the recent communal violence in Nuh, which erupted during a religious procession on Monday, lies Monu Manesar, a member of the Bajrang Dal. Manesar had previously been implicated in a case involving the killing of two Muslim men in Bhiwani back in February. Alongside him, 20 others were also accused in the abduction and murder of the two men, whose lifeless bodies were discovered inside a charred vehicle on February 16.
The tension escalated when rumors circulated that Manesar would be present at the procession organized by the Bajrang Dal and Vishwa Hindu Parishad. These rumors led to the unfortunate outbreak of violence. A video featuring Manesar, who remains at large, further fueled speculations about his potential attendance at the event, and the footage was widely circulated online on the preceding Sunday.
Tragically, the situation took a dire turn as clashes ensued on the following day, resulting in the loss of two police officers' lives and leaving around 200 individuals injured. The repercussions of this violence have shaken the region and raised concerns about the need for peaceful coexistence and harmony among communities.
