UP CM Yogi Adityanath and Deputy CMs meets Amit Shah in Delhi

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath called on Union Home Minister Amit Shah on April 11 during his first trip to the national capital as the newly elected UP CM for the second consecutive term.

Adityanath was accompanied by his Deputy CM’s Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak during his visit to the national capital.

The Union Home Minister Amit Shah took to Twitter to express his confidence in Yogi’s leadership to take UP to new milestones of development.

“Held a discussion with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Deputy CMs Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak over the development and governance initiative being undertaken in the state. I am confident that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, you will take UP to new milestones of development,” tweeted the Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

 CM Yogi Adityanath also resorted to using the bird app to extend greetings to the Union Home Minister.

“Paid a courtesy visit to Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi today. Thank you very much for giving your valuable time and guidance,” tweeted Adityanath.

The delegation met with President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi ahead of their meeting with Amit Shah.

In the recently held Assembly polls, the results for which were announced on March 10, the Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) won the election with a huge mandate in the polls. In the 403-member Assembly BJP won 255 seats, and its allies Nirbal Indian Shoshit Hamara Aam Dal (Nishad) and Apna Dal (Sonelal) also bagged 6 and 12 seats, respectively. The party, by winning 274 seats with its allies, also became the first party in more than three decades to form a government for a second consecutive time in the north Indian state. The swearing-in ceremony of the Adityanath-led government was held in a mega event at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Stadium in Lucknow.
