Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated on Monday that in the last five years, Uttar Pradesh has set a new standard for progress in every field, and that the state’s multi-dimensional development will continue to play a key role in the ‘new India.’ Modi also claimed that new chances have been created in Uttar Pradesh, tagging Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s message to the state’s people on the occasion of the state’s 73rd foundation day.
“In the last five years, Uttar Pradesh has established a standard for progress in every subject.” While the lives of the people of the state have been made easier as a result of this, new opportunities have also been created,” Modi said in a Hindi tweet.
“I am confident that Uttar Pradesh’s multi-faceted development would continue to play a key role in the new India,” he remarked.
From February 10 to March 7, polling for the 403-member Uttar Pradesh Assembly will be held in seven phases, with vote counting beginning on March 10.

Uttar Pradesh continues to draw investment at a steady rate. “Previously, we were ranked 14th in the national ‘Ease of Doing Business’ ranking, but today we are ranked second,” Adityanath said, adding, “The state has received investment worth Rs. 3 lakh crore in the last 54 months and has emerged as an export hub.”
“Our government has established a safe environment for women, businesspeople, and ordinary people,” added the chief minister.
According to Adityanath, the state administration seized offenders’ properties worth over Rs 1,800 crore and destroyed illegal encroachments. “We’ve dealt with criminals and mafias with zeal and within the confines of the law, regardless of caste or religion,” Adityanath stated.
During his reign, Adityanath asserted, Uttar Pradesh was free of rioting and communal violence.
Since his party took control in the state in 2017, 42 lakh people from the economically poorer sections of society have been granted dwellings, according to the BJP leader.
“Under the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) scheme, we have provided more than 5 lakh crore to people, while over 4.5 lakh young people in the state have found work in the last 56 months.” “The state’s recruitment and welfare policies are transparent,” Adityanath said, adding that natural disaster victims have got compensation within 24 hours.
Prior to the assembly elections early next year, Adityanath stated Uttar Pradesh was seen as a state obstructing the country’s growth under the previous governments’ leadership.
“Today, Uttar Pradesh is far ahead of other states in terms of implementing 42 Central government-run initiatives and contributing to the country’s growth,” Adityanath added.
The chief minister said that previous governments were involved in corruption, while stating that the BJP works with integrity.
“There was a food fraud during previous governments, and as a result, people perished of hunger.” “However, after creating the government, we distributed ration cards to the underprivileged and searched for counterfeit ration cards,” he said.
