Mahakumbh reflects vision of a developed India, says UP Minister

The Uttar Pradesh Urban Development Minister, AK Sharma, has said that Mahakumbh 2025 is a reflection of India’s progress. He emphasized that while Mahakumbh is an ancient tradition and has been organized many times before, this time, it is taking place in a modern India.

According to Sharma, the grand event is not just a religious gathering but also an opportunity to display India’s capabilities to the world. He stated that this year’s Mahakumbh gives an early glimpse of a developed India. The event has been meticulously planned to highlight the country’s growth and organizational strength.

Sharma, who also manages the energy department, mentioned that both his departments played a crucial role in organizing the Mahakumbh. He pointed out that visitors from India and abroad have praised the arrangements, especially the cleanliness and lighting at Mahakumbh Nagar.
