Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will officially conclude the Mahakumbh 2025 in Prayagraj on Thursday. He will also take part in various events during his seven-hour visit to the city. The Mahakumbh is a grand religious event where millions of devotees gather at the Triveni Sangam to take a holy dip. The event lasts for several weeks, and this year’s Mahakumbh will come to an end with Yogi Adityanath’s visit and participation in the closing ceremonies.

On Wednesday, the last day of Mahakumbh, devotees gathered at Triveni Sangam to offer prayers on the occasion of Maha Shivratri. The sunset over the holy river created a beautiful scene as people performed their rituals. The event witnessed a large number of attendees, making it a remarkable moment in this year’s grand festival.

Yogi Adityanath’s schedule in Prayagraj

Yogi Adityanath is scheduled to arrive at the DPS Helipad at 11:30 am. From there, he will head to the Ganga Complex Hall, where he will be welcomed by Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya and several cabinet ministers. The chief minister will attend an event that will include a special gathering with sanitation workers.

At 12:10 pm, he will visit the Rani Durgavati Pandal in Sector 24, where Urban Development Minister AK Sharma will welcome him. During this event, the team from the Guinness Book of World Records will officially hand over certificates for four world records achieved during the Mahakumbh. These records highlight the scale and significance of the event.

During the ceremony, Yogi Adityanath will honor 10 sanitation workers and 10 health workers for their dedication. He will garland them as a gesture of respect. Additionally, 1000 sanitation workers will receive certificates under the Swachh Kumbh Kosh and Ayushman Yojana schemes.

Later in the day, at 1:35 pm, the chief minister will reach the Triveni Complex, where he will meet and interact with 100 drivers from the Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC). This session is expected to recognize their contribution to ensuring smooth transportation during the Mahakumbh.

At 3:10 pm, Yogi Adityanath will visit Netra Kumbh to review the work done at the camp. The Netra Kumbh is an initiative that provides free eye care services to devotees attending the Mahakumbh. His visit will focus on the medical support given to pilgrims.

Later, at 4:10 pm, he will go to the famous Hanuman temple to offer prayers. This temple is a significant religious site in Prayagraj and attracts thousands of devotees.

From 4:15 pm to 5:00 pm, the chief minister will interact with media representatives at the Digital Media Center. This session will allow journalists to ask questions and gather insights about the Mahakumbh and his government’s initiatives.

At 5:50 pm, Yogi Adityanath will reach the Ganga Pandal, where he will deliver a speech. This will be an important moment as he addresses the attendees of the Mahakumbh and shares his thoughts on the event’s success.

In the final part of his visit, he will share a meal with police personnel who were responsible for ensuring security during the Mahakumbh. This meal, called ‘Badakhana,’ is a tradition where officials and police officers dine together as a mark of appreciation for their service.

After completing all his engagements, Yogi Adityanath will leave for Bamrauli Airport at 6:00 pm and return to Lucknow by 6:30 pm.

Deputy Chief Minister’s visit

Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya will also be in Prayagraj on the same day. He is scheduled to arrive at 10:10 am and will hold a meeting with officials at the Circuit House from 10:30 am. His discussions with officials will focus on the management and conclusion of the Mahakumbh 2025.

The Mahakumbh 2025 has been a significant religious and cultural event, bringing together millions of devotees from across the world. The grand closing ceremony, led by Yogi Adityanath, will mark the end of this spiritual gathering. With various programs planned throughout the day, the chief minister’s visit will highlight the successful execution of this massive event. His interactions with sanitation workers, transport staff, and police personnel reflect the government’s commitment to recognizing the efforts of those who contributed to the smooth functioning of the Mahakumbh.
